MUSCATINE, Iowa – Steven Smith, 60, a former resident of Muscatine, died on Monday, Jan.7, 2013, in Mediapolis.

Steven was born on May 22, 1952, in Muscatine, the son of Orville and Wilma I. Blake Smith.

Survivors include two daughters, Samantha Balmeceda of New York and Sandi Jones of Bettendorf; several grandchildren; one brother, William Smith and wife, Marion, of Muscatine; and one sister, Carol Fulmer and husband, Robert, of Cottage Grove, Minn.

He will also be remembered by his dog, Jasper.  

He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant brother, Gary Smith
