Alice E. Walker
MUSCATINE, Iowa--Alice Eileen Walker, 61, of Muscatine, passed away on Tuesday, July 22, 2014, at the Lutheran Homes of Muscatine.

Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, July 25, 2014, at the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services. Burial will take place in Lone Tree Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 12:00 Noon until 2 p.m. on Friday, July 25, 2014, at the funeral home. A memorial fund has been established at the funeral home.

Alice was born on October 26, 1952, in Scott County, the daughter of Harry H. and Dorothy Lois Spencer Ritter. She was a 1970 graduate of Muscatine High School. On January 29, 1972, Alice was united in marriage to Daniel Frederick Walker in Muscatine.

She had worked several years as district manager of the Quad City Times in Muscatine. Alice enjoyed making tie blankets, traveling and playing computer games.

Alice will be deeply missed by her husband, Daniel Walker of Muscatine; two sons, Dale Adam Walker and wife, Laura, of Muscatine, and Issac Lewis Walker and wife, Amanda, of Davenport; four grandchildren, Samantha Schnedler, Kaytlin Jo Walker, Chase Michael Walker, and Makaela Marie Walker; one great-grandchild, Maddox David Birkhofer; and two brothers, Charles Bruno Ritter and wife, Marilyn, of Oskaloosa, and Harry Louis Ritter of Muscatine.

Alice was preceded in death by her parents.
