Cindy Joan Derksen, 42, of 2506 W. Fulliam died Sunday morning, Oct 2, 1994, at Genesis Medical Center, East Campus, in Davenport.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Zion Lutheran Church with the Rev. Paul Ostrem officiating. Emily Cole will be the organist. Vocalist will be Rick Crooks, Chris Ridge and Melissa Hendriks. Pallbearers will be Albert Stecher, Mark Schmelzer, Harry Bellinger, Robert Baars, William Lechner and John Derksen. Entombment will be at the Community Garden Masoleum at Muscatine Memorial Park Cemetary.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Geo. M. Whittich-Lewis Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Zion Lutheran Church or the American Cancer Society.

Mrs. Derksen was born Dec 18, 1951 in Muscatine, a daughter of Klaus and Frieda Frost Deickman. She married Anthony Derksen on Jan 9, 1971 in Muscatine.

She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and the women of the Moose. She was a Mary Kay Consultant and was employed as second deputy in the Muscatine County Auditor's office.

Survivors include her husband, Anthony; two daughters, Mrs. Todd (Monique Christine) Trimble of Colorado Springs, CO and Mrs. Les (Andria Marie) King of Muscatine; two grandchildren, Brett King and Brittany Trimble; her parents, Klaus and Frieda Deickman of Muscatine; and two brothers, Dennis Deickman of Muscatine and Kim P. Deickman of Wilton.
